Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Datum Professional Services collects through the Resume Calibration intake form, how it's used, who it's shared with, and how long it's kept.

What we collect

Contact information: your name and email address.
Career information you provide: target job title and posting details, your work history, education, resume text or an uploaded resume file (PDF or TXT), accomplishments, and any other context you enter into the form.
Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details — only that a payment succeeded, along with the Stripe-generated transaction reference.
Basic technical information: your IP address, used only for rate-limiting (preventing abuse of the free preview feature) and fraud/bot verification (via Cloudflare Turnstile).

How we use it

To generate your calibrated resume, using the information you provide.
To send you the finished resume, and to communicate with you about your order.
To verify you're a real visitor and not an automated bot (Cloudflare Turnstile), and to enforce reasonable usage limits on the free preview feature.
To improve the service based on aggregate, non-identifying patterns in how it's used.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell your information to anyone.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to operate Resume Calibration. Each only receives what it needs to do its specific job:

Anthropic	Your career details and target role information	Generates the calibrated resume text
Stripe	Your email and payment details	Processes payment; we never see your card number
Cloudflare	Your IP address, form submissions in transit	Hosting, bot verification, rate limiting, and secure processing
Resend	Your calibrated resume and order details	Delivers the completed draft to us for review before it's sent to you

None of these providers are permitted to use your information for their own purposes beyond providing their service to us.

How long we keep it

Submissions awaiting payment confirmation: kept for up to 48 hours, then automatically deleted if payment isn't completed.
Completed calibrated resumes: retained for up to 30 days after delivery, primarily so we can assist with the revision process described in our refund policy, then automatically deleted.
Payment records: retained by Stripe per their own retention policies, for standard financial recordkeeping and tax purposes.

We do not maintain a long-term database of past submissions beyond these windows.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will do so except where we're required to retain payment records for legal or tax purposes. You can also ask what information we hold about you. Contact us using the details below for either request.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile, the verification check on our intake form, sets a small cookie as part of confirming you're a real visitor rather than an automated bot. It doesn't track you across other websites and isn't used for advertising.

Children's privacy

This service is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page.
